In 1969, Thomas M. Gauthier established T. Gauthier Plumbing, which has since gone on to become one of Hamilton’s most reliable plumbing companies. We work with commercial, residential, and institutional clients all throughout Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
In 1976, Thomas M. Gauthier, Master Plumber, Incorporated his business under the name Tom Gauthier & Son Plumbing. At the time, we worked with two red vans and one station wagon to do all our plumbing jobs with. Since then our fleet gradually expanded as the company grew over the years.
Today we own a fleet of 5 Trucks set up for specific services that allow us to serve our clients efficiently. One Cargo Trailer, one small trailer for removal of earth gravel and parts, one large trailer to carry the Mini Excavator from our warehouse to jobs.
In addition to our fleet of vehicle, our hardware and technology has also improved over the years. Every decade since the company formed, Gauthier Plumbing has stayed up to date with the latest plumbing equipment, including trucks, machinery, computerized system, and tools. Our equipment exceed the industry standards and gives us the edge in providing the best service over our competition.
OUR FORMER STORE
For two decades (70’s & 80’s), we also owned a Plumbing Store named “Discount Plumbing Products” which was located on King Street East in Hamilton. Our store was a show room where we displayed different example of washrooms and Kitchen. Additionally, we also had a licensed plumber who was our in-store sales person, helping clients by providing them with information on how to repair, how to install and what parts were needed for their various plumbing jobs.
As the years went by, changes were needed and the store was closed leaving T. Gauthier & Son Plumbing Ltd with a shop for parts, equipment, and machinery.

We employ highly skilled plumbers capable of carrying out all plumbing jobs with great diligence and efficiency. In addition, we provide our employees with routine training (First Aid, DCVA installation and testing, courses in plumbing etc.) to ensure that our service is always top notch and of the highest standard.
